Santoor maestro Pandit Shivkumar Sharma passed away on Tuesday morning following a heart attack. Remembering the legend, Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, who also plays the santoor, shared, “A colossal loss to the world of music, today. Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma ji who defined santoor and brought it to the fore of classical music has left for his heavenly abode.The moments I shared with Panditji will always remain etched in my memory.
